The Jewish community Trenčín was successful with its project "Restoration, Reconstruction and Revitalization of the Synagogue in Trenčín". Funding for the repair of the synagogue and the subsequent creation of a cultural center was obtained from EEA Grants and the state budget of the Slovak Republic. It thus ranked among the first 12 successful applicants to succeed under the Culture Program, redistributing 10,158,938 EUR among them.
The CLT01 call was launched on 26 July 2019 and was aimed at supporting the restoration and revitalization of cultural heritage for the re-use or further use of cultural monuments and supporting their business potential. The CLT01 call was closed on 29 November 2019 and received 66 applications for a total amount of 58,986,436 EUR.
